HEADWATERS RELIEF ORGANIZATION WAS FEATURED ON CHANNEL 12 TO RECOGNIZE THE FIVE YEAR ANNIVERSARY OF HURRICANE KATRINA AND THE ONGOING WORK BEING DONE THERE.

Headwaters Relief Organization was featured in a Twin Cities’ Channel 12 (http://www.twelve.tv/) news story, recognizing the five year anniversary of Hurricane Katrina and describing Headwaters’ ongoing work in New Orleans and the region.

Hurricane Katrina was the event that led to the “River of Hope” project and the founding of Headwaters Relief Organization. It initiated the disaster relief work that the organization has done over the past five years in New Orleans, elsewhere in Louisiana, North Dakota, Iowa, Minnesota, and most recently, in Haiti.
