Headwaters relief organization haiti earthquake relief trip IV.

Headwaters Relief Organization volunteers returned to Haiti for a fourth time, from May 2nd through May 4th.

The volunteer’s first goal was to deliver computers and printers to “Jaguar’s” orphanage in Port Au Prince. The equipment is intended to assist with the children’s education as well as to set up internet services for the local community. The orphanage will charge a nominal fee for internet usage which will be able to generate an income to be used to purchase food and other necessities for the children.

The volunteer’s second goal was to make arrangements for a pending research project, with lead researcher, Dr. Priscilla Dass-Brailsford. The study, approved by Georgetown University, will examine the traumatic effects of the earthquake on the children of Haiti.
