Headwaters Relief Organization is became a member of National Voluntary Organizations Active in Disaster (NVOAD) on April 23, 2012. This will allow Headwaters to be involved in planning and coordination when disasters occur across the nation. This was a significant achievement for Headwaters, which had previously be designated as a Volunteer Organization Active in Disaster in the local five state region.
