Tibetan Door Hanging

Found throughout Nepal and Tibet, these handmade cotton curtains are traditionally placed at the entrances of both homes and temples. Each door hanging is embroidered with the beautiful Tibetan Auspicious Symbol Endless Knot. The knot often serves as a symbol of the Buddha’s endless wisdom and compassion, as well as eternal harmony. Similarly, the knot plays a special iconographic role in representing the cycle of rebirth. This door hanging may be used for simple decorative purposes in home or office and also as a meditation room divider.
