Traditional Chinese cloisonné tobacco box that today could also be used for spices or trinkets. This unique and beautiful case is etched with imagery of the temple of Heaven located in Beijing. Cloisonné, an ancient metalworking technique, is a multi-step enamel process used to produce jewelry, vases, and other decorative items. Dimensions are 2.5” in diameter and 1.5” tall. This item was graciously donated to Headwaters so, unfortunately, we don’t know country of origin.
